Day 01 : Arrival Delhi
Flight to Delhi, arrival late night. Check into hotel for night.
Day 02 : Delhi
Delhi, India.s capital is a perfect place to see a blend of India.s new and
old. Here you can take a rickshaw ride through the bustling markets of Old Delhi,
where you will also see Raj Ghat and Jama Mosque. Also visit some of India.s
magnificent structures such as Humayun.s Tomb,
Qutub Minar, as well as the Government buildings.
Day 03 : Agra
Drive to Agra (200 kms, approx 4 hours).
On the way you will stop briefly at Sikandra, where the tomb of Akbar the Great
is located . Layers of history are peeled away to reveal an amazing tapestry
of life - of wars waged, of great architectural magnificence and above all a
testimony of the undying love of a king for his queen in the magnificent monument
. the Taj Mahal. Agra also boasts other monuments such as the Agra Fort. Visit
a marble factory where the most incredible pietra-dura work can be seen.
Day 04 : Jaipur
Drive to Jaipur (260 kms, aprox. 5 hours)
Visit the Amer Fort, beautifully located on a hill just 11 kms from the city.
You have the option of ascending the fort on elephant back.
Take a walk or rickshaw-ride through the old city and explore the colourful
and interesting lanes.
Day 05 : Jaipur
Take a tour of this colorful, historic city. See City Palace, the Palace of
the Winds and the Jantar Mantar observatory and be transported back to the world
of Maharajas and their lives. Go shopping for textiles, jewellery and local
handicrafts in this "shoppers' paradise", as the city is known.
Day 06 : Samode
Drive to Samode (40 kms, approx.1 hour)
Experience royal luxury and splendour at the magnificent Samode Palace. Walk
around the village of Samode and observe daily life in a typical Rajasthani
village.
Day 07 : Mandawa
Drive to Mandawa (130 kms, approx. 4 hours)
Walk around the town and visit the beautiful painted havelis of the merchants,
which bring back memories of past wealth and glory. Enjoy the sights of colorful
safas (headgear) of the local people, their graceful dance and music, the ethnic
traditional food, and legendary hospitality - the experience is simply amazing.
Day 08 : Bikaner
Drive to Bikaner (170 kms, approx. 4.5 hours).
On the way see havelis in Nawalgarh and Sikar. Explore the rich cultural heritage
of Bikaner by visiting the opulent Junagarh Fort and the havelis in the old
town. Time permitting you can also visit the camel breeding farm here.
Day 09 : Jaisalmer
Drive to Jaisalmer (333 kms, approx. 7.5 hours). On the way stop at Pokhran
for lunch. Evening check-in and relax at hotel.
Day 10 : Jaisalmer
Take a tour of the "Golden City" of Jaisalmer built around the massive
living fort, visit the Gadisar Lake and the exquisitely carved havelis in the
narrow alleys of the old town. Experience the melancholy romance of the desert
by taking a camel ride into the sanddunes at sunset and witness cultural performances
by local folk artists.
Day 11 : Osiyan
An erstwhile trading center, Osiyan today is a desert oasis with 16 Brahamanical
and Jain temples, beautifully sculpted and designed, most of which have stood
ravages of time. The largest and the best preserved among them are the Mahavir
Jain temple dedicated to Mahavira, the last of the Jain Thirthankars . The place
is highlighted by its camel ride at the time of the sunset. Also visit nerby
Bishnoi villages to see the ways of these eco-friendly tribes people. View the
desert wild-life like bluebulls, gazelles and peacocks.
Day 12 : Jodhpur
Drive to Jodhpur (150 kms, approx. 4 hours). On the way you can visit the Pali
region. Jodhpur, the "Blue City", famous for its local arts and crafts,
has the impressive Mehrangarh fort with an interesting museum. Also visit the
cenotaphs of the Maharajas at Jaswant Thada.Wander around the bell tower in
the old city and visit the local markets.
Day 13 : Ranakpur
Drive a short distance to Ranakpur (190 kms, approx. 4 hours).
Ranakpur, a small town in the foothills of the Aravallis, has been made famous
by its gorgeous Jain temple built in white marble. Take a tour of the temple
and be mesmerised by its intricate carvings and architecture.Enjoy and relax
in the beautiful palace hotel.
Day 14 : Udaipur
Make an excursion to the nearby Kumbalgarh Fort. This massive and impressive
structure on top of the hill will surely take your breath away.
After this drive to
Udaipur (90 kms, approx. 2.5 hours).
Enjoy a romantic boat ride on Lake Pichola and experience the true beauty of
this "City of Lakes".
Day 15 : Udaipur
Take a tour of one of the most romantic cities in Rajasthan and visit the grand
City Palace, the Jagdish Temple and the royal garden, Saheliyon ki Baadi. Wander
through the narrow streets of the old town and visit the markets. Udaipur is
famous for its miniature painting schools. Visit one such school to learn more
about this. In the evening do not miss the Sound and Light show in the City
Palace.
Day 16 : Delhi
Relax and enjoy your hotel till departure by afternoon flight to Delhi. Arrival
by evening in Delhi. Late night transfer to international airport for your flight
back home.
Day 17 : Delhi-Abroad
International flight back home.

Take a flight to Goa via Mumbai. Arrival transfer to resort. Sun, sand and sea
