Embarking on a journey of India's remote eight states of the North East is a tumultuous but rewarding one. Recent years have seen a deep interest in its tourist potential. The infinite variety of its geographic setting, its topography, its varied flora and fauna and avian life, the history of its people and the variety of its ethnic communities and their rich heritage of ancient traditions and lifestyles, its festival and crafts make it a holiday wonderland that's just begging to be discovered afresh. Discovering the North East states including the partially opened up Sikkim, in the eastern Himayalaya, is a challenge -yet a romantic adventure in the best traditions of travel and discovery.

Day 01 : Delhi
Arrival in Delhi and transfer to hotel. Combined sightseeing of Old and New Delhi visiting Red Fort built in 1648 by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan, Jama Masjid, one of the largest mosques in India, Raj Ghat and Shantivan, the cremation sites of Mahatma Gandhi and Jawaharlal Lal Nehru, Qutab Minar built in 1199, Humayun Tomb, India Gate (War Memorial Arch), Laxmi Narayan Temple.

Day 02 : Delhi - Guwahati - Tezpur
Early morning transfer to Airport for flight to Guwahati. Arrive in Guwahati and then drive to Tezpur (190 km). Overnight simple hotel.

Day 03 : Tezpur - Bomdila
Morning drive to Bomdila (160 km). Enroute visit Tipi famous for Orchids. Overnight simple hotel.

Day 04 : Bomdila - Tawang
Drive to Tawang (190 km) crossing Sela Pass (4000 m). Enroute we can see very nice view of mountains & some interesting villages, biggest water fall of Arunachal. Overnight Tourist Lodge.

Day 05 : Tawang
Full day at Tawang visiting Tawang Monastery which is Asia's largest Monastery where 500 Lamas are iving. We also visit Handicraft centre in the afternoon.

Day 06 : Tawang - Bomdila
Drive back to Bomdila through same route as mentioned above.

Day 07 : Bomdila - Itanagar
Drive to Itanagar (350 km). Enroute we can see some Tea gardens and tribal villages. Overnight in Hotel.

Day 08 : Itanagar- Ziro
Morning drive to Ziro (150 km) enroute visit Nishi villages. Post lunch visit Apatani Tribal villages. Here we find tribes basically the women tooting in the face and the nose plug which we will find different from other tribes. Overnight in Guest House.

Day 09 - 10 : Ziro - Daporijo
Morning drive to Daporijo (180 kms) enroute visit Hill Miri Tribal villages. Post lunch visit Tagin Tribal villages, their faces resembling to Chinese. Tagin and Hill Miri Tribes are more or less similar in their culture, custom and traditions. Overnight Circuit House, Daporijo.

Day 11 : Daporijo - Along
Morning drive to Along (160 km). Post lunch visit Adi (Galong) Tribal villages. Overnight Circuit House.

Day 12 : Along - Pasighat
Morning drive to Pasighat (100 km) all along Siang river. Post lunch visit Adi (Padam, Pasi etc) Tribal villages. Overnight Circuit House.

Day 13 : Pasighat - Dibrugarh
Morning drive and cross by ferry Brahmaputra river and reach Dibrugarh. Overnight Hotel.

Day 14 : Dibrugarh - Kaziranga
Morning drive to Kaziranga (250 km). Overnight in Resort.

Day 15 : Kaziranga
Morning Elephant safari inside the Park. Post lunch Jeep safari inside the Park. Overnight in Resort.

Day 16 : Kaziranga - Kohima
Morning drive to Kohima via Dimapur. Overnight Hotel Japhu, Kohima.

Day 17 : Kohima - Imphal
Morning drive to Imphal (142 km). Check into Hotel Excellency. Post lunch excursion to Loktak Lake and Sendra Island. Overnight in Hotel.

Day 18 : Imphal - Silchar
Morning drive to Silchar (250 km). Overnight Tourist Lodge or Hotel, Silchar.

Day 19 : Silchar - Shillong
Morning drive to Shillong (250 km) via Jowai. Overnight Hotel.

Day 20 : Shillong
Full day excursion to Cherapunjee and Mawsynram. Overnight Shillong.

Day 21 : Shillong - Guwahati - Delhi
Morning drive to Guwahati Airport for Flight to Delhi. Later transfer to international.

Day 22 : Delhi - Departure
Flight back home.
